CAN YOU CONTROL YOUR HOE? (REPOST)

This is a repost

With the elections coming up in one or two months a question poses itself:

CAN YOU CONTROL YOUR HOE?

Originally posted on Mar 6, 2006

On my way to work today I saw this Suburban with a phrase written on the back of it.

Here’s a picture

“ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME NOW”

So when I got to work I Googled the phrase, and it turns out that it’s a title of a song sung by 2 Pac. (below is a picture of 2 Pac – he’s the one on the right)

So now this guy turns out to be such a dedicated fan of 2 Pac that he’s willing to write a lyric on his car and “prance” around the streets of Kuwait.

What is the moral of the story here?

The moral of the story is:

Writing signs on your car is an effective method of communication!

Below is a title of a song sung by Snoop Dogg, and the full lyrics of that song.

“CAN YOU CONTROL YOUR HOE?”

Niggas, get your miller genuine draft, cause its miller time, we about to go hard on these hoes on this one right here.

[Chorus] CAN YOU CONTROL YOUR HOE?

[soopafly] Can you control your hoe? (You got a bitch that won’t do what you say) You can't control your hoe? (She hardheaded, she just won't obey) Can you control your hoe? (You've got to know what to do, and what to say) Listen you got to put that bitch in her place, even if it’s slapping her in her face. Ya got to control your hoe. Can you control your hoe?

I went to your house; your girl came in and started cussing you out. You should have slapped her in her face, I wanted to tell you, but it wasn't my place. I kept it on the low, cause I know you was gonna check that hoe. But instead, you was quiet as a mouse, maybe you started to think it wasn't your house. Cause she was acting like a nut, you got a kind of bitch that would kick your butt. What kind of pimp holds back? Never met a bitch that a pimp can't slap, what’s wrong with the pimpin? Why you get a whippin? All I got to say is this:

[Chorus] CAN YOU CONTROL YOUR HOE?

[Verse: 2]

This is what you made me do; I really didn't want to put hands on you. But bitch you playin with fire, I’m so sick and tired, of loud mouth bitches like you, a nigga had to go and put tips on you, cause bitch you playin? with fire, I’m so sick and tired. Bitch This is what you forced me to do, I really didn't want to put hands on you, but bitch you playin? with fire, I’m so sick and tired. Of bitches like you, a nigga had to go and put tips on you, bitch you playin with fire, I'm so sick and tired.

[Chorus] CAN YOU CONTROL YOUR HOE?

I think the above lyrics are an appropriate title for someone how might be considering running in the 2007 parliamentary elections, the title "CAN YOU CONTROL YOUR HOE?" would make a great campaign slogan, but that’s just my opinion.

Thank you for caring!

What the hell is happing to the world?

Cowboys

Mama's don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys,
don't let 'em pick guitars and drive them old trucks
make 'em be doctors and lawyers and such

Mama's don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys
cause they'll never stay home and they're always alone
even with someone they love

A cowboy ain't easy to love
And he's harder to hold
And it means more to him to give you a song
Than silver or gold
Budweiser buckles and soft faded Levi's
And each night begins a new day
If you can't understand him
And he don't die young
He'll probably just ride away

A cowboy loves smokey ole pool rooms
And clear mountain mornings
little warm puppies and children and girls of the night
them that don't know him won't like him
and them that do sometimes won't know how to take him
he's not wrong; he's just different
But his pride won't let him do things
to make you thing he's right

Mama's don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys,
don't let 'em pick guitars and drive them old trucks
make 'em be doctors and lawyers and such

Mama's don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys
cause they'll never stay home and they're always alone
even with someone they love

Lumberjack Song

Al Watan 10/3/2006

When I saw the article I was reminded of something.

I’m a big fan of the old British comedy series “Monty Python,” In one of Monty Python’s episodes that was a song sung by one the actors called the “Lumberjack song.”

The lumberjack song starts off with someone who wants to give up what he’s doing right now and become a lumberjack. The only twist is that the lyrics of the song go south and it starts to show what the true feeling of this guy really are. I took the liberty of highlighting the verses that might apply to the article and picture above.

Lumberjack Song

I'm a lumberjack, and I'm okay.
I sleep all night. I work all day.

I cut down trees. I eat my lunch.
I go to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays I go shoppin'
And have buttered scones for tea.

I cut down trees. I skip and jump.
I like to press wild flowers.
I put on women's clothing
And hang around in bars.

I cut down trees. I wear high heels,
Suspendies, and a bra.
I wish I'd been a girlie,
Just like my dear Mama

Sorry for the inconvenience.
